Two Weeks Under our Belts!

Three days of orientation and seven days of typical class and we are well on our way to a great school year. In Science and Geography we were introduced to Air, Land and Water. We classified which animals move through air, land or water (in science) and which vehicles move on air, land or water (in geography.)

Our students are learning a poem titled Friendship. “I will be a friend today. I will be kind in every way to every person, big or small. I will be a friend to all.”

One of the finger plays we learned is “Two little black birds sitting in a hill, one named Jack, the other named Jill. Fly away Jack, fly away Jill. Come back Jack, come back Jill.” Please ask your child to teach you the poem or finger play!
